He Has Done All Things Well
What do you do when something in your life seems beyond repair? In this hope-filled sermon from Mark 7:31-37, Pastor Jeff Houston reminds us that Jesus is not limited by the problems, pain, or closed doors that overwhelm us. The people who witnessed Christ heal a man who could not hear or speak declared, “He has done all things well.” That same Jesus still knows where we hurt, meets us personally, and restores what we cannot fix on our own.
Bring the Need to Jesus
The man in Mark 7 did not reach Jesus by himself. Other people brought him and pleaded for Christ to touch him. Their example shows the importance of intercessory prayer and faithful friends. There are moments when someone is too discouraged, burdened, or weary to move forward alone. God can use us to help carry that person to Jesus in prayer.
You cannot judge your future by your present condition.
Jesus Sees the Person, Not Just the Problem
Jesus took the man away from the crowd and dealt with him personally. The crowd saw his condition, but Jesus saw the person and what could be restored. Christ knows our fears, wounds, disappointments, and needs, even when we cannot explain them to anyone else. Romans 8 reminds us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes when words fail.
God Can Restore What We Cannot Repair
Human ability has limits. We can repair many things, but some situations remain beyond our strength, knowledge, or control. Jesus specializes in the places where our ability ends. He can open what has been closed, release what has been bound, restore what has been damaged, and bring hope where circumstances appear permanent.
- Trust Jesus with the areas you cannot fix.
- Pray for people who need help reaching Him.
- Make room to meet with Christ away from distractions.
- Remember that your present struggle does not determine your future.
- Place your family, future, dreams, pain, and disappointments in the hands of the One who made you.
Do Not Forget Who Jesus Is
It is easy to focus so closely on the broken pieces that we forget the power of Christ. This message calls us to stop measuring God’s ability by the size of our circumstances. Jesus can bring peace to a troubled mind, restore joy to a wounded heart, heal, save, open doors, and give new purpose to what looks ruined.
If you are carrying something that feels impossible, this sermon will encourage you to place it in Jesus’ hands. Watch the full message and be reminded that He knows exactly where you need His touch, He is still able to restore, and He does all things well.
